Pianist Jiyang and Cellist Robert will be playing a French program featuring the Franck sonata, the Fauré sonata no. 2, the Ysaye solo sonata, and Stravinsky’s Suite Italienne.

Turn of the century Paris was a nexus of inspiration and innovation cross multiple artistic fronts – not least music – for which it became the foundry for some of the most innovative and beautiful artworks of all time. We will present works from the height of Romantic into the Neoclassical periods, covering the rise of the virtuoso, impressionism, and beyond.
