Mildred Owen Hall’s own Little Big Band returns with a performance featuring a wide variety of styles. Our music reflects each band members’ musical experience, spanning from the 1950’s to the early 2000’s. Determined to leave an impression on the world, the band has been arranging classic (and not so classic) rock, jazz, and soul tunes in their own style. Our motto is “We don’t play it like the record!”.
Our horn section is now back to three pieces, with the addition of Drew Davis on trumpet and flugelhorn. We’ll be playing a mix of rock, soul, funk, and jazz tunes. In addition to those, we’ll also be featuring original songs written by our band members, and even some holiday music.
