Country Rock, Americana, & Roots

The Rivertown Trio has been playing around the Bay for over 4 years. The band combines heart, creativity and veteran musicianship for a very unique and special sound. Their carefully chosen songs are mostly in genre of country rock, Americana and roots music and their sets are fun and interesting and always put together in a way that keeps people excited. Part of what makes the Rivertown Trio unique is their meticulous attention to crafting their 3-part harmonies which are enchanting and captivating to their audiences. Not only is their band chemistry magical, but so is their relationship with each other– but it’s the music that keeps people coming back for more!

Gary Vogensen – lead guitar, harmonica, vocals

Russ Gauthier – guitar mandolin, fiddle, vocals

(toured with New Riders of the Purple Sage, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Etta James, Mike Bloomfield…)

Julie Bernard – vocals, rhythm guitar, percussion and band leader. (played locally with various bands for over ten years)
