Big Band Jazz

is a 17-piece Bay Area jazz orchestra directed by Tony Corman, who is the band’s lone arranger. The repertoire includes modern takes on the Great American Songbook, Brazilian gems, and original tunes in a variety of moods and grooves. Past concerts have featured various special guests, including Nic Bearde, jazz vocalists Clairdee and Jackie Ryan; multi instrumentalist and jazz royalty Roger Glenn; and DownBeat-poll-winning singer Ed Reed.

This time out we are reunited with a great jazz vocalist, Nicolas Bearde. We’ll be doing some tunes by the other Mr B, Billy Eckstine, some Cole Porter and whatever else takes our fancy.
