This Belgian Virtuoso guitarist will perform:

Evening in Granada

Titled after Claude Debussy’s La Soiree dans Grenade, this recital with Belgian guitarist Jérôme Mouffe will feature affinities between Spanish masterpieces, French Impressionism, and flamenco. The program will include music by Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla, Joaquin Turina, virtuoso pieces i the Parisian salon concert tradition, as well as Jérôme’s own innovative transcriptions. The concert will also include some flamenco, a perfect ending to an evening in Granada.

Virtuoso guitarist Jérôme Mouffe has toured throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Western Europe as a soloist and chamber musician. Highlight performances include recitals for Omni Concert Series in San Francisco, Austin Classical Guitar Society, International Brussels Guitar Festival, Festival del Norse in Saltillo, Mexica, La Guitarra California Festival, and Boston guitarFest, among others. In 2009, Jerome was invited to perform at the Agustin Barrios Mangore Festival in Brussels, where he shared the stage with Eliot Fisk, his teacher and mentor. Jérôme’s performances have been broadcast on Belgian national public radios Musiq3 and Klara.
