COLE SWINGS COLE – Long Live The Music
The George Cole Trio bring a genuine and vibrant Nat Cole Trio show to the Mildred Owen Hall stage. George Cole [guitar/vocals], Sir Richard Nelson Hall [piano], and Carla Kaufman [upright bass] celebrate the chemistry so ever present in the musical interplay between Nat Cole, Oscar Moore, and Wesley Prince. When the guitar became electric, the Nat King Cole Trio bridged the gap between swing and rock and roll. With countless hits and classics, the Nat Cole Trio inspired acts including Frank Sinatra, George Benson, Harry Connick Jr., and Diana Krall. Many groups utilize the trio format in Jazz and Rock.
