Dance Party

Pacifica Singer/Songwriter Nancy Hall of The Curios is teaming up with local party band, The Finger Puppets for a “Summer Dance Party”! So put on your glad-rags and motor over to Mildred Owen Concert Hall for a rockin’ good time.

Fingerpuppets is a six-piece, Pacifica rock band )all of the band members are from Pacifica!) that plays originals like “Carwash Killer” and covers like “Folsom Prison Blues,” Cinnamon Girl,” and “Taking it to the Streets.” They have French horn, trumpet, keyboards, guitar, bass, drums and lots of vocals. They play upbeat, fun music that favors the “Ska” side of things. They have an endless supply of hand-knitted finger puppets from Peru that they pelt the audience with during their performances. No one leaves empty handed.

The band includes Nancy Hall who used to sing with Neil Young; Rob Wullenjohn, who toured for ten years with the Irish rock band, Tempest; Hanne Andersen, who played drums for 10 years on the Vegas music circuit; William Oaks, who plays with several local Pacifica bands; Michael Varney, who used to play with the Free-Range Chickens; and Jennifer Ball, who plays French horn and teaches English in China.
